Thorburn's Hot-Flex metallic expansion joint system
is an engineered product that was specifically designed to
provide high pressure & temperature transfer containment
of highly corrosive medias that could not be safely handled
by conventional metallic, elastomeric of teflon expansion
joints.
Each Hot Flex expansion joint can be custom engineered
to your specific application: pressure & temperature rating,
spring rate movement (axial, lateral and angular), metallic
carcass (stainless steel, monel, inconel, hasteloy, etc.),
various lengths.
• Heavy walled (minimum 3mm) molded
PTFE liner for maximum service life
• Seamless high integrity liner - not a
spray coating (.02mm) which is prone to
pinhole leaks and de-lamination during
thermal cycling
• Available from 2.5" - 48" (60 - 1200mm)
