Rectangular Metallic Expansion Joints are
designed in accordance with EJMA VI Edition
standards to absorb thermal growth, vibration and agitation in ducting systems.

Rectangular Metallic Expansion Joints can be made
with a 12" inside radius round corner to eliminate stress
risers that exist in the corners of mitered or camera corner
rectangular expansion joints.
It is the best design for gas turbine applications
because bellows will heat up at a uniform rate to minimize
thermal shock. The bellows will be close to the flue gas temperature
at all times, providing that the bellows are insulated externally.
This will minimize condensate and sulfur based acids forming
in the convolutions.
Round Corner
• 100 mm high convolutions, 175 mm radius
• Best design for vacuum service
• Highest pressure capacity (Max.175 KPA)
Mitered Corner
• 200mm high convolutions with 0.8 mm
thickness
• Ideal for short face-to-face applications
• Large axial movements, ultra low spring rates
Chamfered Corner
• Easiest to manufacture
• High convolution height (up to 200mm)
• Large movement, Low spring rates
